Nourish Your Roots is a school fundraising initiative to connect schools with fresh produce from local farmers. This is our third year participating in this fundraising program to support healthy eating initiatives at our school. This year, all orders and payments are made on the Nourish Your Roots website.

Boxes are $35 each for 20-25lbs of harvest vegetables from Nova Scotia.

You can choose a pick-up location on the date(s) that work for you (closest pick-up spot is St. Mark's Anglican Church Parking Lot at 5522 Russell St, Halifax.

Pick up dates there are Sep 30th 10-1, Oct 10th 9:30-12 or Oct 21st 10-1). Don't forget to choose St. Stephen's Elementary School at the check-out which supports our school with a portion of the proceeds (the school gets $10 per box). Order by Oct 4th if you want to pick-up before Thanksgiving.

In the past some families have asked if they can donate a box to a community member or family in need.  This is still possible and the easiest way would be to send the cash donation to the school and the administration would place the order and pick it up.
